COVID-19 Announcement

To the valued clients of Lone Star Animal Hospital:

We are excited to start inviting clients back into the clinic starting Monday 6/21/21. We will be limiting the number of people in the hospital in an effort to continue to keep both you and our staff safe.

We continue to ask clients who are sick (respiratory disease) or clients who have potentially been exposed or who have tested positive for COVID-19 to not bring their pets to the clinic. Please make other arrangements for your pet to be brought in. It may also be possible to arrange a Telemedicine evaluation in some situations (this will be decided on a case-by-case basis).

At this time, we are inviting clients in with their pets that have scheduled appointments. For technician appointments, medication and food pick-up, and drop-off exams, we are still utilizing our curbside service in an effort to limit the number of people in the lobby. Please call our front desk to let us know you've arrived, and someone will be right out to assist you.

We ask that 1 client per pet be present in the clinic/exam room during your appointment. Masks are required if entering the hospital.

For scheduled appointments, please remain in your car and call our front desk to let us know you've arrived. We will ask if you prefer curbside service or would like to come in with your pet. If you choose to come in, we will invite you into an exam room. Again, we ask that anyone coming into the clinic please wear a mask at all times. At the end of the appointment, we will facilitate check-out from the exam room.

As always, if you are pressed for time and prefer to drop your pet off with us while you run errands, take a work call, etc, please just let us know and we are happy to accommodate!

Please call with any questions or to inquire about options to get your furry loved one medical attention! Thank you for your understanding and patience in this situation, and we are excited to start moving back to some normalcy!
