Rachel, CVT

Office Manager/Certified Veterinary Technician

Rachel is an Austin area native and has been living in Dripping Springs for several years. She has been working in the veterinary industry since 2001 and loves it. She received her certification in 2002 and is passionate about surgery and pain management.

Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons- little DS Tigers. She can be found working in her garden, doing home improvement projects and watching college football. She has two dogs, two cats, chickens, ducks, and fish.


Sherry, LVT

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Sherry joins us with over 20 years of veterinary experience, ranging from shelter medicine, traditional small aminal medicine, surgery technician, and radiation/oncology speciality. While she is a "jack of all trades", she has a special interest in helping rescued animals as well as assisting in the more complicated medicine cases . She brings a level of compassion and skill that we all appreciate and love about her. She has 5 dogs of her own and 2 goats that keep her busy in her spare time! 



Veterinary Technician

Maddie has lived in the Dripping Springs area for 10 years. After high school, she traveled to South Africa and volunteered at Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center where she worked with a variety of animals. This is where she realized she wanted to help care for animals and become a veterinary technician. She attended Blinn College in Bryan. She worked for three years as a large animal surgery technician at Texas A&M Veterinary School. She moved back to Dripping Springs and worked for two years at Austin Equine Hospital.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog and horse, as well as quality time with friends and family.

Staff member Amanda


Veterinary Technician

Amanda grew up in Bryan, Texas. She participated in an internship program through Hammond Oliver High School for human sciences, a division of Bryan High School during her senior year. She did her internship at Briarcrest Vet Clinic in the fall of 2000 and at Boonville Animal hospital in the spring of 2001.

She has always been an animal lover and is thrilled to be a part of the Lone Star Animal Hospital Family. Amanda loves outdoor activities and spending time with her husband and daughter.
