Dr. Amanda Moore, DVM in Dripping Springs TX

Dr. Amanda Moore received her doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree from Texas A&M University in 2006 before going on to complete a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at the VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego. The following year, she joined the veterinary staff at The Drake Center in Encinitas, CA, where she practiced for almost 8 years. She earned her certification in veterinary acupuncture (CVA) from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) during her time there in 2011.

In 2015, she found her way back home to Texas, where she practiced at BEEVET Animal Hospital in Bee Cave, TX for almost 4 years. She calls Dripping Springs, TX home, and is so excited to open a practice of her own here and be more involved in this community.

Dr. Moore is happily married and the mother of two daughters. Their family also includes two dogs, Luke and Layla.

Before vet school, Dr. Moore was a dolphin trainer in Hawaii, and is passionate about marine mammals. She loves traveling, being outdoors and has a special interest in scuba diving.
